Four hours of video were filmed between 1982 and 1983 depicting Jim Mitchell, a personal private student and protégé of Senior Grandmaster Edmund K. Parker, performing Mr. Parker's complete American Kenpo Karate system through the 1st Degree Black Belt requirements. All of the required basics, techniques, forms and sets were included in the footage. For over 25 years, the original source material has rested in archive, and at long last, Mr. Mitchell (Senior Master of the Arts, Founder of Mitchell System Kenpo Karate and President of the World Kenpo Karate Association) shares this piece of history with the Kenpo community to reference and enjoy. Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker narrates and supervises during many portions of the film from behind the camera. In 1983, this is how Mr. Parker wanted Kenpo Karate done!

The Jim Mitchell Tapes are divided into 4 DVD’s with multiple menus for ease of navigation. You can conveniently skip between ranks, techniques, basics, sets, and forms.

BONUS FOOTAGE is included aside from the original video done with Mr. Parker present. This provides additional angles of Mr. Mitchell performing techniques both with and without an opponent.

This is a historical gem and a must have for any Kenpoists collection!
